Just picked up my 3rd Breguet, a Classique Musicale 7800 - Bach version

For those keeping score, I now have a Tradition Tourbillon 7047, a Classique Hora Mundi 5717, and now a Classique Musicale 7800. There's one more Breguet (the Classique Chronometrie 7727) on my list before I feel my collection is complete, but I'm feeling

Ah indeed the noise is crazy.

It's no 9000 rpm GT3 but it does sound better than the 4.0 7800 rpm Porsche Boxster I tried, that's the same engine as the Cayman GT4 which is off course A LOT faster than my little French baguette

Don't be afraid to buy one with over 100.000 km.

Main issues on this car can be: Gearbox (synchro 3rd gear mostly), a rebuild will cost you around 1500 € at a specialized firm (not the dealer LOL). Waterpump could leak, mine never did but I have a friend who had many issues with that. But I think you ha

Very interesting suggestions as to what may be released.

But as to your suggestion for a updated Classic Musicale 7800 that plays some different music I know it's not very Breguet and a bit out there but maybe they could be really adventurous and go for a classic Rock n Roll song like Elvis Presleys "Rock aroun

Wishlist for the remaining Breguet 250th anniversary novelties?

Breguet has been dropping a new release about once a month to celebrate the 250th anniversary. Assuming they stop at the end of the year, I'd say we have about 5 more coming? So far they've released the Classique Soubscription, the Tradition Retrograde Se

I had a drive in a Boxster with the 4.0

Same 7800 rpm as the GT4 with 420 hp. To be honest ... it didn't feel half as fun as the A110, okay the engine might be quite amazing (but far from the GT3 (or GT4RS) 9000 rpm engine which is the one to get in this case). The drive itself will be differen

Official topspeed is 225 kph.....

... that's when you hit the limiter at 7100 rpm in 6th gear, first 5 gears can go to 7500 rmp. Although we cghanged mine to 7800 rpm .. in all gears. I remember going 240 kph (228 gps) and it felt as solid as any modern sportscar. I remember once the cops

The ‘problem’ with new Porsches …

… they are soooooo perfect . Last year i had a go in a new Boxster 4.0 400 hp, so the one that revs to 7800 rpm i guess. Everything felt so perfect and flawless and that offcourse has its charm as well. I also had the chance to compare the 300 hp 2.0 Caym

They say ... never meet your heroes !

Last year I had a go in this one, I must say this car is perfection ... but that perfection made it a bit dull to me, a bit of a disappointment :-( .... . The 4 liter 7800 rpm flat six is fabulous but it's nowhere near the drama of a 9000 rpm GT3/RS/Spyde
